The dance craze sweeping the nation comes to town next month as Horsham pulses once more to the Zumba rhythm.
Qualified aerobics instructor Natalie Osmond launches her own hour-long classes of the Latin dance-inspired fitness programme at Millais school on 2 February and is inviting everyone along for a free taster session between 6.30 and 7.30pm.
“It’s great fun and creates a vibrant, party atmosphere,” says Natalie, who was introduced to Zumba by her mum last summer. “I was trying to lose my baby weight after the birth of my son and she suggested I come along and try a class. Once I’d experienced it, I was hooked.”
Zumba attracts all ages and abilities, stresses Natalie, who ran one of the local Rosemary Conley Diet Club classes until recently, “so everyone is welcome to come along. All you need are clothes comfortable for exercising in and refreshment”.
